Windows on Waynesburg |
|||
Windows on Waynesburg was an Oral History Project created by Ms. Buchanan's Central Greene elementary and middle school students in partnership with An Adventure of the American Mind at Waynesburg College. Students researched a Greene County building and interviewed a person connected to that building. They also photographed and described an artifact that symbolized the interviewee's life. Then they searched the Library of Congress American Memory archives for period photographs that placed the person and the building in the larger context of national history. Hover over a window on the Messenger Building, taken from Caldwell's Atlas of Greene County 1876, to see which student's multi-media project is showcased there. Click on the window to open the project. |
