TPS: BASICS consists of three modules in the Blackboard course management system individually paced within a time frame of three weeks. Participants are expected to complete one module and login to a live 2 hour chat session facilitated weekly by the ERTPS staff. TPS: BASICS models the use of inquiry, teaching for understanding, and differentiated instruction applied to primary source documents. Activities from the modules could be applied, with appropriate modification to local professional development workshops and K-12 classroom settings. |
